After a brief decline during the initial outbreak of H1N1 influenza, U.S. pork exports to Mexico have rebounded quickly and impressively.

Since May, pork exports to Mexico have increased steadily and year-to-date (through August) they are exceeding last year’s pace by 38 percent in volume and 17 percent in value.
