Batch management simulator

Simulator

What would my farm be like if I implemented batch management, BMS, or changed system types? This part of the simulator allows you to compare how your farm would work with different types of batch management systems. We use this nomenclature:

Enter your parameters or leave the reference ones, note that we ask for weaning weights at both 21 and 28 days:

According to the BMS, you would have these results.
You can modify the number of farrowing spaces to know how many you need to add to achieve your objectives:

To calculate the number of spaces in the different phases, we need more information about your farm:

Gestation

Nursery

Finishing

These are the spaces, rooms, and piglets per room according to BMS:

Batch work schedule

Now we will see how choosing one batch system or another affects the weekly farm tasks.
The weeks are for the current year. Choose the week and the sow group you want to start with.

Changing batch systems

Now we will see how we can make a change from one type of BMS to another. By doing so, the tasks will shift weeks. To switch from one BMS to another, we will have to lengthen lactation to move the weaning and subsequent mating to the desired weeks. This comparison will help us to know which sow groups we should wean later to achieve this change:
