Carcasses of four wild boars (mummified remains) were found on the territory of the tract “Lutnoye” near the village “Znamenka” (Smolenskaya Oblast) on 15 May 2014. Laboratory studies confirmed that the wild boars were infected with African swine fever virus.

The carcasses were incinerated.
