One highlight will be a conference organised by the Russian Union of Organic Producers on the morning of Tuesday 10 September, on Russia as a new major player in organic farming. The members of this association will also meet with exhibitors specialising in organic farming, as well as specialist producer organisations.

The IFIP morning forums, the IDELE and ITAVI conferences, the international agri-market focus sessions and all the other organisations involved help make SPACE an absolutely exceptional forum for information sharing.

ABCIS, a consulting company created by the three technical institutes IFIP, ITAVI and IDELE will hold a conference on the morning of Wednesday 11 September on the impact of African swine fever on global protein trade.

Several conferences will also address how farming can adapt to climate change and are indicated in the conference programme by the "tree" symbol.

The programme of animal presentations is top quality again this year. SPACE 2019 will feature two major highlights, a Pie Rouge breed European Challenge and a Salers breed National Festival.

The multi-breed auction is one of the events unique to SPACE. It will take place on Wednesday 11 September starting at 4.30 pm. Genotyped animals of 7 different breeds will be offered for sale (Prim'Holstein, Normande, Pie Rouge, Montbéliarde, French Brown, Jersey and Simmental). 550 cattle of 13 different breeds will provide a continuous spectacle in the main ring during the four days of the Expo. 200 sheep and goats of 11 different breeds will also be shown.
