Automatic adjustment of feed amounts for pigs

FeedManager is a two-star New Product exhibit from Aco Funki A/S.

Aco Funki’s FeedManager adjusts the feed amount according to the pigs’ eating rate.

With a FeedManager in the pig house it is no longer necessary for personnel to have to adjust feed amounts. The FeedManager computer takes care of the adjustments automatically.

FeedManager is presented at Agromek 2018 by Aco Funki A/S. It has been approved as a two-star New Product exhibit.

FeedManager operates by a feed computer registering when the pigs are fed. A sensor is located in the trough. This scans along the trough and registers when the trough is empty. Eating time is applied together with the feeding graph and automatically adjusts the feed amount in the following feeding periods.

The feed computer can thus adapt feed dispersion without the personnel having to make regular adjustments.
