Preparations are well under way for Agromek 2018 in Denmark - the largest combined agricultural exhibition in Northern Europe for all kinds of machines, implements and technology for livestock housing and fieldwork. Farming of the future will be emphasized at Agromek 2018.
The Chairman of the Agromek Committee, Managing Director Sten Andersen, Dan Egtved A/S has stated the following: “Digitalization is racing ahead in every sector – and this also applies to the agricultural sector. We look forward to launching a new concept in the form of an innovation presentation directed at farming of the future.”
“We have established Agromania – an entirely new innovation presentation which focuses on new solutions for farming of the future. Visitors at the Exhibition will be updated on the latest trends regarding digitalization, robot technology and big data.”
Focus on biogas
The Agromek Exhibition will also place new focus on the area of biogas. A section in one of the many exhibition halls will be reserved for exhibitors related to biogas. There is already considerable interest from exhibitors within the biogas field.
Sten Andersen has also stressed the fact that Agromek is an exhibition which is of extreme interest to all farmers within all production sectors.
The Chairman continued: “Our objective is to ensure that Agromek continues to spread modern knowhow and to provide inspiration to farmers and leading decision makers – both on a domestic and global basis.”
In 2016, Agromek was attended by almost 42,000 visitors including more than 5,000 foreign guests.
Agromek will take place during the period 27th to 30th November 2018 in the MCH Exhibition Centre, Herning, Denmark.
The Exhibition will present all innovations involving fieldwork implements, tractors, harvesting machines, grain handling, livestock housing mechanization, energy, knowhow and service. The Exhibition also includes stands of interest to contractors and for the park, roadway and plant installation sectors.
