With the theme “For a united and committed pig farming industry,” business leaders from the swine industry, representing more than 700,000 sows and 85% of Mexican pig farming, gathered at Hacienda La Paz in Cholula, Puebla, to discuss and build the sector's agenda together.

Over two days, business leaders, academics, executives, and suppliers explored the challenges and opportunities facing the national swine industry. Specialized panels, a brainstorming session, and short interview-style talks were combined with opportunities for conversation, creating an environment conducive to sharing experiences and forging alliances.

The topics discussed reflected the industry's current priorities: health and nutrition as pillars of production, sustainability, generational transfer, animal welfare, and the historical evolution of Mexican pig farming.

Participation from national and international experts provided a global perspective, highlighting that the industry's competitiveness depends on innovation, trust, and social responsibility.

The first edition of SIBFM also demonstrated the commitment of the sponsoring companies. 333 Mexico recognizes that this support is key to the industry's advancement:

  • Diamond sponsors: Alltech, dsm-firmenich, Maximus, NS Group, Trouw Nutrition
  • Gold sponsors: Cargill, Ceva, Cloverleaf Animal Welfare Systems, Jyga Technologies, Zoetis, Miavit
  • Silver sponsors: Crystal Springs, Danbred, Lapisa, Syva, Topigs Norsvin
  • Bronze sponsors: acap, Amius, Evobac, Grupo Nutec, MSD, MPA-Pavet

Supporting organizations: Altosano Granjas Carroll, AMVEC, ANETIF, CNA, GCMA, IMP, INFARVET, Mexican Pork Exporters Associations, Opormex, Rabobank, and The Farm.

Activities such as the opening dinner and networking cocktail party not only strengthened relationships, but also demonstrated that business unity is as important a driver as productivity itself.

As this meeting drew to a close, it was clear that Mexican pig farming not only produces food and jobs but also consolidates a business model where shared vision and cooperation are essential to facing present and future challenges. SIBFM 2025 was, in essence, a demonstration that unity within the sector is the best path to sustained growth.

“For 333, SIBFM 2025 reaffirms the strength of Mexican pig farming: a sector that is growing with professionalism, innovation, and collaboration. We are proud to be the organizers of an event that promotes unity and entrepreneurial vision as drivers of the country's development.”
