European Union - GMOs: Environment Committee strengthens legal grounds for cultivation bans
EU Member States should be able to state environmental grounds, such as pesticide resistance, for restricting or banning the cultivation of EU-approved genetically-modified crops, said the Environment Committee on Tuesday.
