Vietnam: ASF spreads quickly in the densest region in the country

46 new ASF outbreaks have been confirmed, 6 of them in 4 new provinces.

Besides the 33 outbreaks notified by the OIE two weeks ago and the two new provinces affected by ASF that we informed about last Monday, there are now 46 new outbreaks and 4 new provinces affected (Hai Duong, Hoa Binh, Dien Bien and Thai Nguyen).

So far, there are 10 affected provinces.

In its last published gazette, the OIE has confirmed 23 outbreaks in Thai Binh, 4 in Hung Yen, 9 in Hai Pong, 2 in Hai Duong, 1 in Hoa Binh, 2 in Ha Noi, 1 in Dien Bien, 1 in Ha Nam, 1 in Than Hoa and 2 in Thai Nguyen, with a total of 2,532 susceptible animals.
