Chavalit Chookajorn, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Agriculture and Cooperatives Ministry, said the country should see this year’s chicken production rise to 1.1 billion chickens, up by 4.6% from last year which stood at 1.05 billion birds.

The ministry also expects to see pig production rise to 13.07 million, almost 2% up from last year.
