Japan detects a new CSF outbreak on a pig farm

The outbreak has affected a farm with 23 susceptible animals.

After the confirmation of the first outbreak of the disease in early September on a commercial farm, new cases have been confirmed, all of them in wild boars. Nevertheless, the WOAH/OIE has just confirmed a new outbreak in domestic pigs.

The outbreak has affected a farm with 23 susceptible animals (2 cases) located in the town of Gifu.
