Russia: ASF outbreak affects two sites with 100,000 pigs

African swine fever (ASF) hit two commercial sites belonging to the company Rusagro in Primorsky Krai located in the Far East region of Russia, affecting a total of 103,179 susceptible animals.

According to WOAH reports, the first outbreak was reported on May 10 on a farm with 53,503 susceptible pigs. Then, on May 20 another outbreak was reported on the second farm with 49,676 pigs.
