ASF in China: two new outbreaks

The outbreaks have been detected in the provinces of Zhejiang and Anhui.

The WOAH/ OIE has confirmed two new outbreaks: the fourth one (August 23rd) and the fifth one (August 31st) since the confirmation of the disease for the first time last August 3rd.

The outbreaks are located on two farms in the provinces of Zhejiang and Anhui, south of the other outbreaks and at a great distance between them. The first farm is in Whenzou and has 1,864 susceptible animals and 430 cases; and the other farm is in Wuhu and has 459 susceptible animals and 185 cases.
