The OIE deems the ASF event in Mongolia solved

The OIE/WOAH has published a final report on the ASF situation in Mongolia, deeming the event solved.

The disease was confirmed for the first time in Mongolia last January 2019, affecting a backyard farm located in Bulgan, in the northern-central area of the country.

Altogether, 11 outbreaks have been confirmed, all of them on backyard farms located in the provinces of Bulgan (1), Orkhon (2), Tuv (2), Dundgovi (1), Darkhan-Uul (1) and Selenge (4), with a total of 1,249 susceptible animals.
