The OIE has reported four new outbreaks of african swine fever in Tanzania.

The outbreaks of ASF have been reported in Mbeya region, Tanzania, with a total of 1610 susceptible, 191 cases and 79 deaths.

Once again, illegal movements of animals are suspected to be the origin of this infection.
