Tanzania has reported an outbreak of African swine fever in its southwest region of Mbeya, the Director of Veterinary Services, W.C.H Mleche, confirmed to OIE.

Tanzania has reported an outbreak of African swine fever in its southwest region of Mbeya, the Director of Veterinary Services, W.C.H Mleche, confirmed to OIE.

There are 13854 susceptible animals, 308 cases and 122 deaths. The affected pigs are in free-range system.
