Russia took protective measures due to the ASF outbreaks in Latvia

On June 28 of the current year the Rosselkhoznadzor imposed temporary restrictions on live swine, pork and raw pork products, finished products containing pork, exported from Latvia into Russia.

On June 28 of the current year the Rosselkhoznadzor imposed temporary restrictions on live swine, pork and raw pork products, finished products containing pork, exported from Latvia into Russia, except for the finished cat and dog feeds which were thermally treated at least at 70°C for at least 20 min.

Moreover, temporary restrictions were imposed on transit of live swine through Latvia to Russia. As for the live swine which had been transited through Latvia and which had arrived to Russian BIPs before June 28, 2014 decisions are made on a regular basis.
