Russia - Decree on prolongation of the grain export ban comes to force

On January 2, 2011, the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation #853 dd. October 20, 2010, “On imposition of the temporary ban for exports of the certain range of agricultural products from the territory of the Russian Federation” came into force.

On January 2, 2011, the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation #853 dd. October 20, 2010, “On imposition of the temporary ban for exports of the certain range of agricultural products from the territory of the Russian Federation” came into force.

According to the document, beginning from January 2 till June 30, 2011, the Government decreed to impose the temporary ban for exports of wheat and meslin, barley, rye and maize from the territory of the Russian Federation.

We also should mention that the Decree does not provide any temporary ban for exports of wheat or rye-wheat flour from the territory of Russia.
