Mexico: new options to obtain SENASICA Import-Export documents

The agreement states that the certificates can be managed with the use of the Advanced Electronic Signature through the Mexican Foreign Trade Digital Window.

The Secretariat of Agriculture (SAGARPA) published in the Diario Oficial (Federal Register), on August 9, 2012 an agreement with the procedures to obtain import/export certificates for agricultural, livestock, aquaculture and fisheries commodities, through electronic means.

The effective date for this publication is October 8, 2012.

The agreement states that the certificates can be managed with the use of the Advanced Electronic Signature through the Mexican Foreign Trade Digital Window at www.ventanillaunica.gob.mx/vucem/index.htm or SENASICA’s web page www.senasica.gob.mx , with the objective of simplifying procedures to issue the import/export certificates for agricultural, livestock, aquaculture and fisheries products.
