In the face of the propagation of African Swine Fever (ASF) in Russia and Belarus, near the Polish border, the French Directorate General of Food (DGAL) haas summoned veterinarians, farmers, technicians and all the operators in the pig sector to maximise the preventive measures.Th

The DGAL has informed that "the current situation is critical", stressing that the virus is highly contagious. Any kind of suspicion must be notified to the DGAL. The DGAL also urges the haulers to apply the cleaning and disinfection procedures of their vehicles when going to or coming from Russia and Belarus.
