During the last week, the presidents of the AGPB (wheat producers), the AGPM (maize producers), Coop de France and the FNA (Agricultural Business Federation) signed the foundation charter of the Cereals/Farmers Modernization Fund.

It is a Fund that will be created by means of the voluntary contribution of 2 €/ton of grain delivered during the 2012/2013 campaign. This fund, with the support of the new structure named INTERGRAINS, will allow the financing of modernization activities of the stockbreeding sector. The voluntary payment will be carried out at the end of the 2012/2013 campaign.

The Cereals/Farmers Modernization Fund is a voluntary act so the grains producers and the farmers are able to create synergies, in spite of the volatility of the prices and, in this way, participate even more in the growth.
