FranceAgriMer has revised its forecasts for the 2022/23 French marketing year in a global context that is still very uncertain regarding the sustainability of the Black Sea cereal corridor.

Forecasts for French exports to third countries are now projected at 10 Mt for soft wheat (- 100,000 tons compared to last month), 2.4 Mt for barley (- 100,000 tons) and 360,000 tons for corn (unchanged).

Forecasts for French wheat sales to the European Union have also been revised downward to 6.9 Mt (- 130,000 tons compared to last month), mainly to Belgium.

On the other hand, forecasts for barley sales to the European Union have been raised to nearly 3.1 Mt (+ 150,000 tons), due to Spain's feed needs, and to a little over 3 Mt for corn (+ 20,000 tons).
