Brazil: new procedures for the commercialisation of veterinary products

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supplies (MAPA) has published new regulations that establish new procedures for the commercialisation of the substances subject to a special control and destined to be used as veterinary products and for the veterinary products that contain them.

The Normative Instruction (NI) no. 35, published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) last Thursday, September 21st is valid for any establishment that manufactures, stores, commercialises, handles, distributes, imports or exports veterinary products, as well as veterinarians that prescribe them or use them during their work.
