Store control for farming attains an entirely new meaning, when the suppliers of primary produce can automatically be informed when it is time to fill the farmer’s stores up with feed. This ensures that the farmer is always certain to have sufficient feed for the livestock.

Grainit and Big Dutchman have entered into a cooperation to ease the farmer’s store control.

With the aid of a supplementary module – the BD-Connect – for the Big Dutchman feed computer, two-way communication can be established between Grainit and Big Dutchman. The store amount is automatically written down and the supplier can see when it is time to refill the store.

Grainit BD-Connect has been approved as a two-star New Product exhibit at Agromek 2018 where it will be presented by both Grainit and Big Dutchman.

With this store control, the farmer can monitor the store from a single place, regardless of the number of store locations. Grainit maintains control of the data and this can be accessible to other parties that have gained the necessary permission from the farmer.

The store amounts can not only be monitored with the aid of Grainit App. It is also possible to gain full tracking of all supplies and their values, including analyses of, for example, protein and dry matter.

At the same time, it is possible to trace the components contained in the farm feed via a continuous chain of data.
