Phileo by Lesaffre welcomes new sales representatives

Due to significant growth and demand, Phileo by Lesaffre has grown its North American sales team by 3 individuals.

At Phileo by Lesaffre we are committed to pushing the boundaries of animal care to better nourish and protect the planet. We believe that yeast and bacteria with advanced fermentation technologies are the future of animal health through nutrition. They are the answers to the challenges of a global demand for animal protein and greater sustainability. We are on the ground, together, to help define new standards in terms of animal nutrition and build a sustainable agri-food future.

Phileo organizational change announcement:

We are excited to announce that due to significant growth and demand, Phileo by Lesaffre has grown our North American sales team by 3 individuals. These individuals will be overseeing further growth and awareness of the Phileo family of brands such as SafMannan, Procreation 7, SelSaf 3000, and Actisaf HR+ for species such as beef, dairy, swine, and poultry.

Anna Crockett has joined Phileo by Lesaffre as a Regional Sales Manager for Poultry and Swine.

Anna comes to Phileo with a degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University, as well as experience in Animal Nutrition from her time with Biomin as a regional Poultry and Swine sales representative. She has worked in the animal nutrition business for 6 years. She most enjoys being able to help customers solve their problems and work with great people throughout the industry; and she looks forward to many more years continuing to help animal caretakers find the best solutions through effective nutrition.

She currently resides in Raleigh, NC with her husband and daughter. From here she will oversee Poultry and Swine accounts in the Midwest and Eastern regions of the United States.

George Perigo has joined Phileo by Lesaffre as a Regional Sales Manager for the Poultry team.

George brings a wealth of knowledge from his 42 years of experience working in the agricultural production and animal health industry. Prior to joining Phileo, George worked for Zoetis for 12 years where he was an account manager in the southeastern United States helping with vaccination techniques and reactions, evaluate gut health, and cocci scoring. Throughout his whole career George has enjoyed being able to help people. He finds great reward in being able to work with growers to help them with their farm production and animal health.

He currently lives in Elijay, GA with is his wife and their two dogs. He will over see Poultry accounts for the Southeastern United States.

Nathan Pokowski has come on board the Phileo by Lesaffre team as a Dairy Regional Sales Manager.

Nathan was exposed to the agricultural industry early in life through his grandfather’s farm in Southwest Michigan. His interest in the field grew as he earned his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University. His major is in Agribusiness Management with a specialization in Animal Science.

Nathan has been active in the animal nutrition and health industries for over 8 years, working first for Ritchie Smith Feeds in British-Colombia, Canada. Following his time there, he returned to Michigan and continued to work as a dairy nutritionist for Kalmbach Feeds. During his time at Kalmbach Nathan earned his ARPAS certification from the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists. In the fall of 2017 Nathan decided to leave Kalmbach and take the position of Key Account Manager for Kemin. Overtime Nathan has developed a well-rounded understanding of ruminant dietary needs and looks forward to sharing that knowledge with his accounts at Phileo.

Nathan currently resides in Michigan with his wife and two sons; a Dairy Regional Sales Manager for Phileo, Nathan will oversee Dairy accounts in the Midwest Region of the United States.
