Recognized worldwide as one of the main showcases for swine research, the IPVS2022, which takes place from June 21st to 24th, at the RioCentro, Rio de Janeiro (RJ), informs the scientific community about the final phase of the abstracts’ evaluation to be presented at the event.

To follow the conclusion of the reviewers, authors should pay attention. "Soon we will announce the abstracts that will be presented on the IPVS2022 stage. It is important to remember that, as previously announced, the accepted abstracts can be presented in oral or poster form, as directed by the panel", informed IPVS2022 President Fernanda Almeida.

Less than two months before the event, it is urgent that those responsible for the abstracts are aware of their registration, travel and accommodation schedule. "We have mapped out hotels for attendees to be close to RioCentro for easy access to the convention center. However, as we expect many delegates, it is important to book in advance. Besides, we have special conditions for early registrations", the president alerts.

In this first edition of the event in hybrid format, besides showing their research, the selected participants will have access to a series of lectures directed by the theme "New perspectives for swine production: biosecurity, productivity and innovation", which aims to debate and update the swine community about the main subjects related to the sector.

In Fernanda Almeida's opinion, this will be a great opportunity to show the research of the admitted professionals. "We will gather great names of the world swine industry interested in updating themselves about the latest scientific discoveries of the sector, which makes the event a conductor of the new solutions and discoveries of the world swine industry", she says.
