He was born in 1979 in Barcelona, Spain. In 2012 he earned his MSc in Animal Science from the Faculty of Veterinary Science/Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
He has collaborated in research projects on animal production (fowl and pigs, mainly) as a part of the UAB's Nutrition and Animal Welfare Service (SNiBA).
Since 2014, he is developing his PhD thesis project, focused on the use of mathematical prediction models that may be useful for the decision making in the management of pig farms regarding aspects such as the weight variability during the pig production cycle, among other isues.
