Vietnam - World Bank helps Vietnam improve livestock productivity

Vietnam and the World Bank will join forces to improve the overall competitiveness of Vietnam’s livestock production by addressing main constraints and risks faced by household-based livestock producers.

The World Bank said in a statement that an agreement to this effect was inked last month in Hanoi between the State Bank of Vietnam and the World Bank, under which it will provide a credit of USD 65.2 million of the total USD 79.03 million for the Livestock Competitiveness and Food Safety Project.
