Congressman Dennis Moore (Kansas – Third District) and Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins (Kansas – Second District) announced Tuesday the passage of a resolution, H.Res. 317, recognizing the region from Manhattan, Kansas, to Columbia, Missouri, as the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor. The resolution passed the House by a vote of 312-108-1.

Congressman Sam Graves (Missouri – Sixth District) – “Passage of this resolution means that Washington recognizes Missouri and Kansas as the leaders in the bio-science industry. Not only are these businesses providing new and innovative research, but they are creating good paying jobs right here in our region. This bi-state and bi-partisan support will only help to attract more businesses and more jobs to our area.”
