The Netherlands and Spain have requested the most pork storage

In the first days of operation, private storage aid has been requested for a total of 12,356 tons of pork.

On March 25, private storage aid for pork came into force and according to the data, as of March 30, aid had been requested for a total of 12,356 tons, with the Netherlands being the member state that has requested aid for the largest volume, with 3,855 tons, followed by Spain with 2,995 tons. Denmark requested 2,320 tons and Germany 2,320 tons. The other countries requesting aid are France (423 t), Belgium (277 t), and Sweden (171 t).

The largest volume of applications is for 60-day storage, with a total of 8,363 t, followed by 1,657 t at 150 days, 1,581 t at 90 days, and only 756 t at 120 days.
