Last week, the aids for the private storage of pork came into effect. Similarly to what happened last year, Spain is the member state that has asked for more aids in terms of volume (9,274 tonnes), followed by Germany (8,815 tonnes), Denmark (5,907 tonnes), and at a certain distance France (1,001 tonnes).

The requests during the first days amount 35,290 tonnes. The majority of the requests are for the storage for 90 days, and they add up 24,067 tonnes.
