The CNMC (National Stock Market and Competition Committee) has fined 12 companies pertaining to the refrigerated transport by road market and the Spanish Association of Managers of Fixed Temperature Transport Companies (ATFRIE).

They agreed on the rates of the international refrigerated transport by road services and created a franchisor company to avoid the possible fines and to extend the anticompetitiveness practices.

Specifically, the CNMC considers that the infraction, made up by several questionable behaviours, pursued the same objective: the fixing of prices in the market of the refrigerated transport of goods by road. The aforementioned behaviours we carried out continuously between 1993 and 2012.
