Spain: meat exports increased by 15% in 2015

According to the data published by the ICEX Estacom, in 2015 Spain exported 2.18 million tonnes of meat products (+15% with respect to 2014), with a value of €5,116 million.

Pork was the most exported meat, with more than 1.25 million tonnes (+18% with respect to 2014) and a value of €2,704 million. France, Portugal and Italy were the main destinations for the pork sales (fresh and frozen), with a value of €1,137 million (some €624, 26 and 252 million, respectively).
