Russia: Agro-exports to EU have increased in value by 32%

In January-August 2021, Russia exported 4.2 million tons of agricultural products to the European Union, which is 2.9% more than in the same period of 2020.

According to Federal Customs Service and Rosstat data, from January-August 2021, Russia exported 4.2 million tons of agricultural products to the European Union, which is 2.9% more than in the same period in 2020. In value terms, supplies increased 32% to $2.4 billion.

According to ITC Trade Map statistics, the top five goods exported to EU countries include cheese and cottage cheese, wine, pork, bakery and flour confectionery products, and animal feed.
