In the course of actions to eradicate foci of African swine fever (ASF) in the Rostov region, it was planned to kill more than 23.000 pigs.

The Southern regional centre of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that 17.705 pigs have already been killed and 5.517 are still to be destroyed.
