Russia lifts last restriction on pork import from Lithuania

The restriction was applied from June when classical swine fever virus was detected in pig farms.

Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service said that Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance lifted interim restriction on pork export from Kaunas region as of January 18.

The restriction was applied from June when classical swine fever virus was detected in pig farms in Jonava, Kaunas district.
