Russia - Implementation of transitional period for usage of certain veterinary certificates for animal products Exported from the European Union to the Russian Federation

The Rosselkhoznadzor has set up a transitional period for usage of certain EU veterinary certificates till October 15, 2010 at the request of the EU Health and Consumer Protection Directorate General.

The reason for the implementation of the transitional period was the non-observance by several Member-Countries of the agreement to present the veterinary certificate forms initialled this April to the Rosselkhoznadzor.
