Russia confirms new outbreaks of ASF

An outbreak was confirmed on a commercial pig farm with a total of 5.165 susceptible animals.

According to the OIE, Russian veterinary authorities have confirmed new outbreaks of ASF in the country, mostly on backyard farms and an outbreak on a commercial pig farm with a total of 5.165 susceptible animals, as well as a case in a wild boar.

The outbreaks have been located in the oblasts of Novgorodskaya, Volgogradskaya and Voronezhskaya, as well as in the krai of Krasnodar, all at east of the Russian Federation.
