Russian veterinary authorities have sent report No. 78 to OIE reporting a new outbreak of African swine fever. Since the first outbreak was confirmed in September 2009, a total of 173 recorded outbreaks have been reported.
In this report, the OIE has confirmed an outbreak of the disease in two wild boars in state preserve of regional importance «Leschevsky», located in Sredneakhtubinsky (Volgogradaskaya Oblast).
