Due to change in the epidemic situation, it is impractical to further maintain the restrictions on import of animals and animal products from the countries where this disease is registered, as these conditions will make a negative economic impact on international trade, and are not able to slow down the disease spreading among people in Russia.

According to this decision the Rosselkhoznadzor informs that it will not impose further restrictions on import of meat raw materials from foreign countries on the whole or from their administrative territories in connection with influenza H1N1 virus spreading among people. All these restrictions imposed will be lifted from October 15, 2009. It means that any animal product, manufactured at any time will be imported without any restrictions, connected with this virus spreading among people.
