The Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Federal Service of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) has authorised three new Brazilian abattoirs to export pork to Russia. These companies are located in the south of Brazil. Specifically, two of them are in Santa Catarina (Alibem Comercial Alimentos and Pamplona Alimentos) and the other one in Rio Grande do Sul (Pamplona Alimentos).

The authorisation of these three companies increases the number of Brazilian companies authorised to export pork to Russia to 9.

Concurrently, the Rosselkhoznadzor started, on 7th April, a laboratory monitoring reinforced with additional tests for some establishments already authorised, as Alimentos SEARA (SC) and BRF Uberlandia (MG).
