Russian veterinary authorities have again informed the OIE on the appearance of new African swine fever outbreaks in the country.


In this case, the outbreaks affected 2 large scale swine farms in the Krasnodar region (Krasnodarskiy Krai). The first outbreak, located in Starominsky, presents a total of 2183 susceptible animals while with the second outbreak, in Slavyansky, there are 6049 susceptible animals.


In total, the two outbreaks add up to 8232 susceptible animals, 110 confirmed cases and 2175 animals destroyed.
