The OIE informs about a new PRRS outbreak in Chile, where it had been eradicated (the last outbreak was in 2007).

The outbreak is limited to a single commercial farm and affects 8,229 pigs. Up to the date of this report, there is no evidence of other outbreaks, but the event is continuing and the OIE will submit weekly follow-up reports.
