Portugal hopes to be able to export pork to China at the end of the year

The Secretary of State of Food and Agri-food Research announced last week that Portugal will get a license to export to China by the end of the year.

The Secretary of State of Food and Agri-food Research announced last week that Portugal will get a license to export to China by the end of the year.

The Secretary also informed that the agreement with Vietnam and Mexico is almost over and that the agreement with South Korea is likely to be completed next year.

For the time being, the Cuban and Japanese markets have opened their doors to Portuguese pork.
