Pork production in Spain in 2017

The MAPAMA has just published the last provisional data on pork production in 2017.

The provisional data of the Ministry of Agriculture on pig production in Spain in 2017 show an increase by 1.17% in the number of heads slaughtered in comparison with 2016 (49,658,875 vs 49,083,785 heads).

In terms of weight, the increase was by 1.63%, with 4,249,161 tonnes versus the 4,181,091 tonnes produced in 2016.
