Philippines lifts ban on FMD susceptible animals from Japan

The Philippine Department of Agriculture has issued an order lifting its temporary ban on imports of animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) from Japan.

The Philippine Department of Agriculture has issued an order lifting its temporary ban on imports of animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) from Japan.

The order was given after the Office Internationale des Epizooties issued an official clearance that Japan is now FMD-free without vaccination.
