Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines Inc President Edwin Chen said (PPFPI) said however, that they are still in the planning stage and that it might take about five years to establish the first rendering plant in the country. He said PPFPI would like to work with the government to draft a plan that will address the MBM needs for the local feed industry, and that they are considering whether to ask the government to fund the construction of the rendering plants or have the private sector do it.
