The National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA) has intensified the classical swine fever prevention and control measures in Cajamarca, with vaccination campaigns of 75,000 pigs and training breeders, transport operators and traders.

The imunisation of the animals will go on until June.

During the first trimester of this year, CSF outbreaks were notified in the districts of Cajamarca and Los Baños de Inca, causing the intervention of the SENASA's specialists, that established a quarantine area around the infected areas, limiting the movements of animals.
