The National Service of Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA) presented the software platform that will integrate, in real time, databases that will concentrate the health intelligence information generated in Mexico to have available, immediately, the data needed to act quickly and opportunely in case of a health emergency.

The State Health Intelligence Units (UISE) will have sections for the incorporation of plant and animal health information, and they will be able to upload georeferenced information on the health condition of the Production Units included in their entities.

Through this system, and in coordination with the Naval Intelligence Unit of the Secretariat of the Navy – Army of Mexico (SEMAR), there is an international tracking of the containers that transport agri-food products that Mexico has rejected because they entail a health risk. The route followed by the container is satellite-tracked to ascertain that it returns to its country of origin. In case of a detour or a stopover the health authorities of the country where it arrives will be warned in order to protect the agricultural production health of Mexico, the region, the continent and the world.

At the SIS, the users can also check the agri-food products exports through different concepts such as the product, its economic value, and its free trade agreement, among others.
