Mexico invests in food and agriculture health and harmlessness

In 2014 the Food and Agriculture Health, Harmlessness and Quality National Service (SENASICA) will manage an unprecedented budget that will exceed 5.863 thousand million pesos, and through it several actions will be carried out in order to strengthen the infrastructure and the actions directed towards the food and agriculture harmlessness and health.

For this year, 450 million pesos were authorized for the Slaughter of Livestock in TIF Abattoirs Project, with the aim of encouraging the use of the installed capacity of these abattoirs and of guaranteeing healthy and harmless meat products for the consumers.

The diagnosis work of the SENASICA's laboratories, as well as the inspection infrastructure in different entry points into the country will be reinforced.
